We are preparing a very interesting and delicious Japanese Kyoto salad. The salad has a very pleasant fresh taste, largely due to unusual ingredients and dressing! And in order to prepare this wonderful tasty salad I will need: Beijing cabbage, about 200 grams.
4 green onion feathers, fresh cucumbers: about 100 grams, 1 chili pepper. Take chili pepper to your liking. As many of you know from my videos, we like pretty spicy food, so I add chili. Also, I will need: about 120 grams of ham. Ham can be replaced with any boiled meat. It can be chicken breast or pork tenderloin, whichever you prefer. I also need 2 eggs. And for dressing, I will need: 2 tablespoons of sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, about 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and I will also use one tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds.

How to cook Japanese salad Kyoto recipe step by step

- And first thing, I’m going to make a Japanese Tomago omelette. For this, I have already turned on the frying pan to warm up. I break 1 egg — the first, and salt a little. And I mix well. Frying pan, I grease quite a bit with vegetable oil. And also, I have already prepared a plate where I will shoot the omelet. I pour the egg and distribute it in the pan, like a pancake. And I fry it first on one side, and then turn it over to the other side. While my first egg is fried, I will prepare the second in exactly the same way. On the one hand, the omelet has already been fried, I turn it over to the other side. Literally for a couple of seconds and I immediately shoot it on a plate. I remove the omelet from the pan, again grease lightly with vegetable oil and repeat everything in the same way.

2. I beat the egg well and salted it and pour it into the pan. And we fry. I also fried the second egg and put it on a plate. Now I will prepare all the other ingredients. Let’s cut the Beijing cabbage. If your Chinese cabbage leaves are large enough, then cut them in half lengthwise. My leaves are not very large, so I will cut them as they are. I cut into thin strips and transfer to a bowl. Now I will cut the cucumbers. I will cut the cucumbers and all the ingredients into strips. My cucumbers are small, so I cut like this obliquely, it turns out such a straw. I also send cucumbers to a bowl. I cut green onions. I will cut the onion too, like this straw. I will cut the white part of the onion in length. We also send everything to a bowl.

3. I will cut the chili pepper. But before that, I want to remove the seeds from it. To do this, it is best to twist it like this a little bit between the palms. Cut off the cap and remove the seeds. You see, they all fall asleep very easily. I cut the pepper lengthwise. You see, all the seeds have been removed from me. I also remove this part — the membrane. And I cut the pepper obliquely, also into strips. I send the pepper to the bowl. And in the same way, I will cut the ham into strips. Look, here are some pieces of ham. I send them to the bowl. Now I take an omelet — these two omelettes are with me. I roll them up and cut them into thin strips. I get this egg noodles. I try to cut thinner so that the pieces look so beautiful, you see! And I put everything in a bowl.

4. Prepare salad dressing. In a bowl, I pour 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sesame oil. I use dark sesame oil, it’s more flavorful. I add lemon juice and sugar. And mix everything well so that the sugar dissolves. I pour the dressing into the salad, mix everything well so that the whole salad is combined with this fragrant dressing. Look how beautiful and bright the salad turns out! Very juicy! At the very end, now here I will add sesame seeds. I add sesame, but not all, I will leave a little sesame in order to sprinkle the salad on top. I mix.
5. I put the whole salad on a plate, as usual in Asia, dishes are served on a common plate, and then everyone takes as much as he needs. I sprinkle the top of the salad with sesame seeds. And I bring it to the table. I will try this salad now. Very tasty! You know, this salad has such a nice fresh taste, it turns out crunchy! This is thanks because there are Beijing cabbage and cucumbers. And of course, it adds a very interesting taste — this is the Japanese Tamago omelet, which is just so coolly cooked!
